October is here, things are finally starting to cool down, and that can only mean one thing.
Halloween.
It’s the perfect excuse to dress up in something ridiculous, wander around Nagoya drinking with strangers, and wake up the next morning wondering why there’s a photo of you dressed as a traffic cone.
AichiConnection is hosting a two-night Halloween bar crawl across Fushimi and Sakae on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October 2026, with participating bars offering special deals to anyone wearing the event wristband.
And yes, you can do both nights.
๐ธ WHAT’S INCLUDED?
The crawl currently includes several venues around Fushimi and Sakae, with more potentially being added as Halloween gets closer.
Your wristband gets you access to the participating venues and their special offers, while AichiConnection guides will be leading organised crawl routes.
Basically, someone else gets to worry about where you’re going next.
Excellent.

๐๏ธThe Venues
๐ Second Home – ๐FUSHIMI
Friday: Free entry
Saturday: Free entry + all-you-can-drink from 19:00โ22:30
Second Home is an international cafe and bar with a friendly, mixed crowd, making it a pretty good place to start if you’re coming alone or don’t already have twelve mates willing to dress up and wander around Sakae with you.
It’s also the check-in and wristband pickup location, so you’re probably going to end up here at some point anyway.
And on Saturday, there’s all-you-can-drink from 19:00โ22:30.
Which sounds harmless.
It probably isn’t.
๐ฅ LINKS Bar – SAKAE
Free entry + a free tequila shot with your first drink
LINKS is a proper late-night Sakae bar, so expect music, drinks and a livelier atmosphere as the evening gets going.
And a free tequila shot.
Because apparently Halloween wasn’t dangerous enough already.
๐ถ Eclipse Music Bar – SAKAE
Free entry + a free shot with your first drink
As you’d expect from the name, Eclipse is aimed squarely at the music-and-nightlife crowd.
It’s the sort of place where you can continue the evening once you’ve finished pretending you’re only having โone more drinkโ.
You won’t be having one more drink.
๐ธ Rumbullion Int. Bar – SAKAE
Free welcome drink + ยฅ500 drink menu
Rumbullion is an international bar with a more relaxed social atmosphere, and the ยฅ500 drink menu should make it particularly tempting for anyone trying to keep the evening vaguely affordable.
Whether you’ll still care about affordability by midnight is another matter.
๐ป HOW DOES THE BAR CRAWL WORK?
You buy your ticket, collect your Halloween wristband, and then visit the participating venues throughout the night to take advantage of the special offers.
There will also be official AichiConnection group guides leading the crawl, so you don’t have to work out the route yourself.
You can join for Friday, Saturday, or both nights, depending on which ticket you buy.
And because the participating venues are spread around Fushimi and Sakae, you’re free to enjoy the crawl rather than spending the evening staring at Google Maps wondering where the hell you are.
๐๏ธ CHECK-IN & WRISTBAND PICKUP
Friday 30 October: 15:00โ23:00
Saturday 31 October: 14:00โ23:00
Check-in is at Second Home in Fushimi.

If you’ve joined the crawl later in the evening, AichiConnection also has guides around the event who can help with check-in.
So no, you don’t have to arrive at 3pm dressed as Dracula.
Although we’d respect it if you did.
๐ THERE’S ALSO A COSTUME CONTEST
Obviously.
If you’re going to spend Halloween wandering around Nagoya drinking with strangers, you may as well dress properly.
There’s an optional Halloween Costume Contest, with entries being featured on AichiConnection’s Instagram and the community voting for the winners.
So this is your opportunity to finally use that costume you’ve been keeping in the wardrobe.
Or buy something ridiculous from Donki two hours beforehand.
Both are valid.

๐ด HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Here’s the important bit.
๐ EARLY BIRD – ยฅ3,000
BOTH NIGHTS.
There are only 30 Early Bird tickets, or they’re available until October 11th, whichever comes first.
That’s ยฅ3,000 for access to the crawl on both Friday and Saturday.
[๐ GET YOUR ยฅ3,000 EARLY BIRD TICKET โ HERE]
Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
PRESALE
After the Early Bird tickets:
ยฅ3,500 = one night
ยฅ5,000 = both nights
Presale tickets are available until October 18th.
REGULAR ADVANCE
From October 19th:
ยฅ5,000 = one night
ยฅ8,000 = both nights
Online sales close October 29th.
So:
ยฅ3,000 now = sensible.
ยฅ5,000 later = less sensible.
ยฅ8,000 on the day = your wallet has made a bad decision.
Choose wisely.
๐ง READY TO MAKE A BAD DECISION?
If you’re new to Nagoya, travelling through Japan, living here, or simply looking for an excuse to put on a ridiculous costume and meet some new people, this looks like a pretty good way to spend Halloween.
You’ve got multiple bars, drink specials, international crowds, organised guides, a costume contest and two nights to cause trouble.
And with more venues and specials potentially being added, the crawl could get even bigger before Halloween.
๐๏ธ EARLY BIRD: ยฅ3,000 FOR BOTH NIGHTS
Only 30 tickets available โ or until October 11th.
[๐ GET YOUR HALLOWEEN BAR CRAWL TICKET โ HERE]
Get your costume ready.
We’ll see you somewhere between Fushimi and Sakae.
Probably holding a drink.
Probably making a bad decision.
